본 소책자는 ’응용타이포그래피‘ 수업의 일환으로, 이케아 뮤지엄(IKEA Museum) 웹사이트에 기록된 1980년대 아카이브를 서적 형태로 재구성한 작업이다. <이케아 제품 이야기 - 1980년>은 1980년대 당시의 주거 생활 양식과 1981년부터 1988년 사이에 출시된 이케아 주요 제품들의 제작 비하인드 스토리를 다루고 있다.
본 책자는 비상업적 목적으로 제작된 과제물로, 수록된 모든 텍스트와 이미지의 저작권은 IKEA에게 귀속되어 있다.

As part of the Applied Typography curriculum, this project reinterprets the digital 1980s archives from the IKEA Museum into a physical editorial format. The publication, titled IKEA Product Stories – 1980, explores the domestic lifestyles of the era and provides an in-depth look at the production narratives behind key IKEA products released between 1981 and 1988.
