"Hangul Madang" began with the question: “What if Koreans could view Hangul through the eyes of a foreigner?”

To native speakers, Hangul is a familiar system of writing, but to those who cannot read it, it appears as a series of abstract forms. This project is an experimental attempt to reverse that perspective—transforming Hangul's consonants and vowels from linguistic symbols into visual imagery.

Within the conceptual space of "Hangul Madang," Hangul is no longer just a written language, but a medium of visual expression and design potential.
